I've gone for the red this time, as White is apparently for ladies. They gave it to me in a plastic cup though.... Philistines. Also, to any Americans that May be reading this, if it comes in silver foil, in small triangle shapes and you expect me to spread it around with a knife; it isn't cheddar, it's plastic. This also goes for cheese in spray cans.
Wifi on a plane, that's not good! Next it'll be mobile phones :/ "IM ON THE MOBILE ON A PLANE, HELLO.? IM ON THE MOBILE" That's going piss me right off!
No hot water today. Traced it to a burned-out Honeywell electric zone valve, went to the shop and bought a new one, fitted it myself, now all working and the water is hot again. Took two hours altogether, and cost £54. Who needs plumbers, eh?
Well done Pete. What you might find, is that the reason the zone valve 'Actuator' has burnt out, is because the valve that the 'actuator' is controlling has become excessively stiff, so the poor thing has been struggling to open the stiff valve, hence the eventual failure! You might need to get your 'plumbers head' on soon to change the valve.
Sometimes with a bit of cleaning, some grease and a couple of '0' rings you can overhaul the valve.A bit fiddly but I did one a few years back.
