Not Bradley, no sideburns and not quite that quick. Just getting in a few hours training for an event in July. Took the road from Thaksted to Halstead and wished I had taken the other bike!
Took the Multi in for recall work and an MOT , Loaned an 899.. cracking bike and what a soundtrack but after 3 hrs i was fucked. Now getting stuck into the wine.
Had word from my interviewee from last week. She's handing her notice in tomorrow The company expansion continues . Next lorry due in September for the new reg !
Very busy at work, followed by taking the kids to a local boxing gym (only to find they don't do boxing anymore as it's not popular - so it's Muay Thai tomorrow instead). Home to do a load of prep for redecorating. Still not got either bike road ready - but should have the 998 sorted next weekend ready for MOT.
Not long, Finm, not long. Eldest is 15 and been told to do other sports in the closed rugby season - he gets stronger as I get more decrepit. Think I will give the Muay Thai a dabble, just to be ready! Respectful lads, though, so all should be fine.
It was a bank holiday. There was lots I wanted to do, but spent the entirety correcting texts about a museum jewellery collection. I get paid for this, but wish they'd just give me the texts to translate in the first place, instead of handing them to incapable, cheapo, amateur translators. Now feeling strangely unfulfilled - no gardening, no biking, no sport, no reading and more importantly, no working on my start-up project (but the day isn't over so better get stuck in to that).
Japan have just voted a new 'Mountain' bank holiday - what was todays Swiss one in aid of? Are you ahead of them in the 'worship the mountains ' stakes?
Ascension Day. Always a good one (or it was) as it's always a Thursday so kind employers give you the Friday off too normally. Not in a shop, though. Then in a couple of weeks, you get Whitsun - always on a Monday - another long weekend.
Today I had to de-gas a chiller. Nothing unusual in that, it's my job after all, but the location took me by surprise. Usually they're on the roof of some swanky office block - not today...
