Got a 5 week trip to the states with work OK'd to get qualified in a new job. Then go back out there for another 3 2 weeks after I return. Looks like I'll be spending the majority of the rest of this year and the next one there. If not there then Canada or Kenya. If that's the case then the bike might have to go as it'll just be sat in the garage. I've SORNed it in anticipation of this happening. Think I'll have to see how things pan out before I make any decisions.
Good news on the states. Know where yet? I had a grand time over there. Depends which branch you work with but there's some really, really switched on cookies floating around their system. And about a million useless dudes too! All dead friendly though.
Today is my 35th wedding anniversary. I've got to confess, after such a long time, I now have erection difficulties, but my wife and I have conflicting views on the cause. She's bought me a course of Viagra. I've bought her an exercise bike
Got the car serviced at the local SEAT dealer in Torrevieja. Same service as you would get in the UK but almost 1/2 price! Had a great two days driving down here. (Torrevieja, Southern Spain)

We built a project in Torrevieja. But that was near Valladolid in northern Spain. I'm guessing that Torrevieja translates into Springfield in English
Went up to Bog's Ill for an impromptu late afternnon coffee and chat with Count and Satzoomer. Instead of then riding home, I rode to Loomies for a cup of tea and a chat with Jane. First time in years I've been out for a night-ride, I'd forgotten how much fun they can be!
Just made a load of chutney, using several pounds of the last of this years tomatoes. Cupboard now full of strawberry jam, black currant jam, pickled beetroot, tomato chutney. Tom/basil soup in the freezer, along with courgette and parmesan soup, broad bean/ham hock soup. Onions and potatoes stored in the shed. All home-grown/made. 5 pears nearly ripe on the tree. Blueberries nearly ready for final picking. Last of courgettes coming along. Some cauliflower just ripening. Grown runner/french beans - don't know why, don't like/eat them.... Not a bad growing year so far - all set for winter.
got starting date for new job, only a few weeks which is a result, thought it would be a month or two at least
