Don't really know anything about BMs but most cars these days are built to last. Even noddy little Toyotas and Mitsubishis will do 150k miles with few issues. Clutches must last years now, don't they? Mine's still on the original one - doesn't seem to have any problems. The Alfa has to have cambelts renewed at about 75k miles or more. A biggish job but mine's been done now. Thing is, the BM may cost a little money in the next few years, but a whole lot less money than the depreciation on a new car. You only have to worry if you think it's going to break down - but why should it? 8 years old isn't very old. My 999 is 8 years old.
BM all the ay. If I was knocking out 15k on car to do workhorse stuff, would gte latest 320D I could, 330D if in budget
Mel did my car yesterday using the clay bar, the sealant he used was Gardx, brilliant finish. I 'm very pleased. We also have the Gardx top up wash which has been brilliant at keeping Mel's fresh.
I phoned my best mate Stan today, and his wife answered. "Hi Audrey" I said, "I just wanted to wish you and Stan a lovely holiday - you fly tomorrow from Gatwick don't you ? " "Stansted" she replied. "Feck me" I stammered "He looked great in the pub last night"
Spent the weekend with a mate as his wife (still seems odd saying that!) was away at a hen do. Bikes, movies, beer, rum and even a sneaky Cuban cigar. I don't smoke per say, but make an exception for a good cigar maybe 4 or 5 times a year, it's surprisingly relaxing.
