Woke up with hangover. Works xmas do last night. Head hurts...too much Guinness and peroni. Its probably the peroni as I dont normally drink lager. Only Ale etc but the restaurant didn't sell proper beer. 2 more work days to go then hols....i need to get through today...
I'm supposed to be in work till next Wednesday but there really is no point being here as it is absolutely dead. Nothing is happening anywhere. The world has ground to a halt. And the only thing that is stopping me going home is the fact that I will get dragged into doing "jobs around the house". I don't do "jobs around the house"

Yes he was at the vets Going to pick him up later and bury him - my sons pet and I don't expect a crematorium at the vets would be free!
I'm really sorry to hear about this. What was the scenario - anaesthetic for a shell trim from which he didn't wake up? Losing pets is hideous.
Yes he came round and was fine but they kept him a night and he crashed - went on fluids and ventilator but died on second night - I was expecting him to outlive me ! Apparently the re absorb the anaesthetic and not much can be done It was a specialist vets to so they knew what they were doing That's life ! He's probably got 50 kids in a parallel universe somewhere !.
Most of the people I know, which are few and far between, hate Guinness. I like it draught, never really liked the bottles.
