well today on the last saturday of the year that i will be working, i will be servicing jimmy the bum's evo. now jimmy is an ex low tier racer in his fifty's (nowt wrong with that) but as his name suggests he never stops bumming about his past achievements and who he has blown off on his way in too and from town, fecking nightmare. keep smiling fin.
My son asked me this morning "Dad, why is mum zig-sagging down the garden ?" "Quiet son, I'm trying to aim"...
Very sorry to hear about Mrs. Technical. I hope she is much better very soon. My brother nearly died in house fire when he was at university. Grim. But it all healed up in time as it surely will for Mrs Technical. Happy Xmas anyway. PS: learning shopping at Xmas time is probably a bit like learning to drive in the London rush hour.
My Mrs learned to drive in the London rush hour. As a result she's fine driving at 5 mph in heavy traffic. It's out on the open road that she's a menace.
Ouch, here's hoping for a swift recovery. Shopping, yes, cost's a bit. Mel retired last year, now does the shopping, it may have been a bit of an eye opener for him, I think he thought I made it up.
Busy day, cold clearing up nicely, still got a hacking cough though. Melvin's man flu meant he stayed in bed all day, I think he actually passed on sometime early afternoon but a late and miraculous rally and he's watching Bath / Gloucester on the TV from the sofa. Got my appetite back but will probably have to sort myself out for food
@AirConTechnical hope the duchess recovers well but not so well she looks 30 again and you are always asked what your daughter would like when you are out Actually been in the garage for a fe hours today, cleaned multi and ACF bike plastics, cleaned brake calipers and acf'd the bits I dont think are gling to be stripped when it goes in for a new head soon...and de-furred gixer and smothered in wd40 ready for the cold. Had a move around too, how you do, and general tidy My garage is shit!
Well first thing I went for a cut throat wet shave at the local men's groom emporium. After that we went north to do the annual present giving to my two best friends little kids, then visited my old mum who hasn't a clue what day it is, then we went for a late lunch to a very nice restaurant with my two brothers and respective wives and one of my nieces. Back home now and completely knackered and ready to watch Strictly
