  10. yes i do like my Ducati,, but at - 3.5 in Aberdeen tonight the heated leather seats, 4 wheel drive and John Wesley Harding on the cd for the 30 min drive home to Peterhead was just sublime,, ahh , i do luuuve my TT.. la vie facile..

  11. Ooooh I nearly bought a TT but settled for my Mazda 3 this year better economically and don't really need a sports car thats what the bikes are for

  12. Is the TT a sports car? Hard to tell they look small in the rear view mirror of my R32

  13. Thats probably coz some 80yr old codger driving it and doesnt know where the throttle is

  14. hahah,, and then suddenly woosh it is passed you !!,,tbh.. it is not a sports car in the Lotus ,TVr porsche mould,,but a properly sorted one will show many things on the road a clean pair of heels,, including R32 !!

  15. Really...as I was being ironic since they share most of the same engine, gear box, suspension and running gear!

  16. well not really ,, one of them does,, the 3.2 , which puts out 240 bhp and is very difficult / v expensive to tune / improve on,, whereas the others, mostly , have a different turbo engine which is lighter and easily and reasonably cheaply tuned to take it way above the 3.2 power, as for suspension the V6 engine is deeper sump so lowering for handling purposes is more limited , and also has a the big V6 lump sitting in front of the front wheels , not ideal for handling,, the brakes are heavy cast iron calipers which really need to be changed for brembos just the same as any other TT.. ( or fast golf ) what the R 32 does have is good arb s , which i have fitted.

  17. my track car, a audi a3 quattro....aka a 5 seater TT has 450 hp....1.9L and leaves R32 for dead. Such a tunable engine.

    R32's are great turbo'd

Got to love a daft northerner aswell :)

  18. I'm just watching this thread until the Tt vs vw turns into head & shoulders vs L'Oreal or who makes the best scissors.
