  1. Went for a 150 mile ride in the blazing sunshine today ;), now sitting watching NZ beating Sri Lanka in the cricket test :D.

  16. I went to the gym. The roads are a bit icy with a strong north wind blowing the snow over the road. But it's the sort of weather that keeps most people off the roads if they don't like driving in these conditions, so it's OK, so long as you don't go bombing about.
    I'm porking up with all this Xmas fare, so the gym is a must!
    Turkey about to be consumed in vol-au-vents, and I'm doing a jalfrezi for tomorrow. Num num!

  20. Today we are off to the sales for the first time, which is a first given SWMBO normally ventures out at 5am on Boxing Day. I'm amazed she's managed to restrain herself till now.

    We were going to go to Meadowhall but yesterday got a call asking we'd have the granddaughter tonight so we're going to go to Leeds shopping instead so it'll be easier to pick her up around midday.

    This afternoon I've got a works conference call with a prospective client in the US and then I'm off snowboarding with a mate for a couple of hours, whilst SWMBO and my 2yo granddaughter have some girly time together . :)
