Very commendable, ive been to the gym three times in the last three days – what are you doing weights, cardio or both? We should put up a concept2 rowing league, I’m currently sitting at a leisurely 9’20” for 2000m which, frankly, is appalling – a one legged confit duck towing a pedalo could do better, but it’s a start… and its combined with interval sessions on the bike machines before and after, so I do allow myself some leeway.
My gym has closed from the 24th to the 2nd and I couldn't be happier! Put on some gurth though. Tough Mudder in May so training starts on Friday.
I am enjoying a day or two away from the workplace. I plan to spend quality time with the two children I gave birth too. Thank-you

Its like anything, if you prepare its fine. If you just roll up after going for a couple of jogs it would be hard graft. Was really good fun last time as its not about racing, just completing, so everyone helps each other and loads of comradery. Which is rare in sport these days.
Mate, your a smart man like me. Get married on a memorable date when you would be celebrating anyway. I got married on 11/11/11 which was the wife's 40th birthday so now I get to roll them both into one and even I can't forget that date!
he's a chokerman in the forestry, i think the only prep he did was drinking a bottle the night before.
It's a weight thing. Machines only. No cardio. 12 exercises. 90 secs each, one rep per 10 secs. If you can do more than 90 secs, put weight up for next time. Only need to go twice a week (3 times if you're super super keen, once if you're bone idle). It's not body building, but it makes a huge difference and I've been a member for 25 years. One of the staff once described it at the MacDonalds of gyms: go in, do you stuff, leave. Nothing to buy, bring your own music, nowhere to hang out, nothing to drink but water from the fountain. It's a Swiss chain, but there is one in London in Mornington Crescent which I used to go to when I was partially living in London. It never closes - open 365 days a year. Cardio is either the nordic track in the woods, the bicycle, or the swimming pool or you could go mountain walking (that will sort you out). I've been remiss in any of this of late. Not a huge amount of excuses really, except that it's cold and I don't feel like doing any of those things much (although the pool, which would get my vote, is closed for holidays).
