I've just spent a lovely day snowboarding with my friends. It was cold but the sun shined all day. I'm knackered now so I feel the outdoor hot tub is calling
Nice ride this am, then gym trying to loose the Xmas puddings, and on the sofa to watch the Arsenal. Later will attempt tax return.
My brother came to see me today. When he'd gone, I realised he'd taken my thesaurus. I'm feckin' lost for words
I have been informed by the Lords ballot that I didn't get tickets to the Ashes. Bollox. Nor did my nephew. Turds. So it doesn't look as if I will be going. On the plus side, in the past week I have learned the flags of all the countries in the world, and I can now put nearly all of them on a map, including the patchwork quilt that is Africa. I have also learned the counties of England (it all gets a bit hazy north of Birmingham), and the counties of Scotland (I had no idea about them). The counties of Wales continue to defeat me, but hey, it's Wales. Do you really need to know them? If you want to do the same, then you can use Memrise to do most of the flag learning. You can finish this off with LizardPoint which has all sorts of handy and fun geography quizzes.
I learnt about Codecademy this morning - a website to teach you to code. So I have now started to learn HTML, which I think will come in very handy in my line of work. It's free. Probably a better use of my time than knobbing about in here.
