Dragged myself to the pool. If I was fitter, I'd be better at this swimming thing, but then the swimming is supposed to make me fitter, so fair enough. When I got out, I counted the amount of crawl strokes that people were doing to swim a length. Then I got back in and counted my own. Not as good as the real swimmers, but better than many. I found that heartening, as the fewer the strokes, the better your technique. Mine might be not quite as rubbish as I thought. So I'm just unfit, then. Quelle surprise.
