Bit of a sphincter-tightening drive home from work. It's been snowing heavily - a bit of a blizzard. So it took 2 hours instead of 35 minutes. Had to drive all around the houses to avoid jams and abandoned lorries. Even with snow tyres it was more like driving a boat than a car. Still, back safe and sound.
Painted the stairs and landing with Wantz , put up some more of my dads pencil drawings but they seem to have got damaged sitting in the spare room
Took the forks off & going to paint the bottoms black, that should set off the polished calipers nicely! There was quite a few bikes in the shop today, I really liked this Pani...Color was awesome!
I was reading through the ingredients for a fruit salad I'm making today and it said: "Pineapples: four cubed." I'm not sure but I reckon 64 will probably be too many.
I phoned Gamblers Anonymous today to see if they could help me with my fruit machine addiction. The bloke on the line said they were busy and did I want to hold ?
Chilling with a beer tonight, work has been mental this January. Very busy week but I have managed to order two new lorries and the new Mustang. So quite pleased.
I've ridden powder all day. At one point I stacked it and was buried up to my neck in snow. Took me an hour to dig myself out. But other than that it was an awesome day
Gym in the am, then picked up gixxer 600 track fairing from the paint shop...gloss black. Stickers/logos to be added then refit to bike
I don't mind a bit of opposite lock. The thing is, a road isn't like a skid pan. There is loads of stuff to hit when you start sliding. Then skid pans tend to be flat. That's not like it is around here. When you brake and nothing much happens (as you come up to a hair pin) - that isn't that much fun. Then you have to deal with all the other idiots, either creeping up hills (so that you'll come to a wheel spinning stop) or who have just stopped in the middle of the road. Some of them are artics - quite hard to avoid. I quite like driving on the snow, but it's much more fun when you have the road to yourself. Er, Friday night rush hour in a blizzard? Pass.
What year is the GSXR? I have a SRAD, it's a little long in the tooth but it's great fun, you really feel your going quick as it has to be over 10k revs all the time.
