  4. I'd have thought that someone inventive like yourself would have pretexted a group photo with your phone, and then quietly edited out the extraneous elements of the meeting on your laptop later...

I started off to work this morning got about 5 miles and decided to continue would probably get me a Darwin Award for stupidity as the roads were white by then and I was off to the coast. Worked from home instead, by mid morning All the snow had disappeared...oh well

  9. Skiing and fondue are both things I'm keen to try. I can't help feeling it's long due a revival.

  10. You should try both.

The secret to learning to ski is to fall down a lot. You can't be worried about that. It's only snow. People who try to stay upright all the time never get anywhere in my book.
Later on, it's OK to try and stay upright (you're normally going a bit faster). But wiping out is one of those things. Had a big one on Thursday, but no real damage (except to the iPhone).

  17. Thanks Glidd / Mervyn. To be honest, the prospect of getting back on the Ducati as well as the treat of the new Benelli have been huge motivators in sticking to physio and have undoubtedly helped my recovery.

  20. I've got two meetings planned today. Then it's back to my hotel room to wash, iron and pack for my flight to Atlanta in the morning.

I'll be glad to get home :)
