  4. My wife tells me I've been a particularly good boy recently,so..............
    Today I've been to the BMW place to arrange test rides on a K1600GT and a R1200GSA,maybe a 1200RT if they can get one in.All booked for next Friday,weather permitting.
    (This Friday or Saturday it's Pure Triumph for a try-out on a Trophy SE and then the 1200 Explorer XC).
    And the sun is shining!

  6. Lovely set of track bodywork for the 1098R turned up from Carbonworld.de a week after I ordered it.
    Just need to find the time to strip all the road stuff off now.

  9. I'm now safely in a motel on the outskirts of Atlanta. Weather is foul.

    When I landed it was raining heavily. That soon turned to hail, then sleet and now it's snowing heavily, which it hardly ever does in Atlanta. There's about half an inch laid in the last 20 mins or so, and they are forecasting it'll snow heavily till 10am tomorrow :confused:

  12. It's not that luxurious. This is the only poor hotel my travel agent has booked this trip. They've let themselves down :(

    Next three though (NYC, CT & PA) are top notch 4* jobs - I've stayed in them before :)

  20. When I said jolly was a 3 hour trip up the M3/25 an overnight stay next to the airport in a shitty holiday inn where the upgraded room with 'chocolates ' consisted of a Mars bar :mad: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424903283.538928.jpg

    Followed by 1/2 day in site then a reverse tip home


    All in a stunning Peugeot 308
