So what have you done today..?

  1. ^ I can see you would struggle a bit to get creases out half way up length of seat but not as pronounced as the carb SS - I made a seperate closing panel for the front like the original I copied(which is also similar to yours) and stiched it together.

  2. "DeTriumphing" my Alpinestars jacket and trousers. Very slow going with a very sharp knife. Bound to end in tears! But having finally got quality kit that fits well it is worth the effort to keep it! SAM_0106.JPG

  4. El Toro: a couple inches....awwwww poor guy! *strumming a fiddle* that's nothing. Half the country is under a deep freeze and snow is being measured in feet not inches. Poor Boston. Last night coming home I watched a stream of endless cars coming out of the Eisenhower tunnel (highest paved tunnel in the US). I thought....oh joy here come the weekend warriors and powder hounds *sarcasm* [emoji16] ....Love my car for this weather though. More so if I stay in. I'll share I'll my hot chocolate with marshmallows? [emoji6]

  5. Oh I know but Atlanta never sees snow. Anyway I'm now at ATL airport waiting for a flight to JFK. The next week I'm in NYC, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Those places are all hovering around -10C to -20C at the moment :(

  6. I was on the bus today, staring at some girl's fantastic chest.

Then she said "Are you deaf ? I said single to the city centre please !"

  7. While having the back end of the bike in bits, thought it would be a good idea to strip down, clean & re grease the rear hub. Got stuck in, already had the rear wheel off for the shock and ride height adjuster job. Undid the wheel nut clip, drive side to find the 41mm nut was less than finger tight. Bastards!
Managed to pull the spindle and hub out. All cleaned up and greased.
Does anyone know if both big nuts :))) have the same torque spec, 174 nM?

  19. Paint stripping my frame, what a ball ache!

  20. Delivering the bikes to FE next Saturday so busy sorting out a couple of tool boxes and doing a few final checks on the bikes. My girlfriend sadly is sofa bound after twisting her back yesterday so her daughter is making lamb tagine for tea and I'm off to get some chilled muscle relaxant from the Co-op for the invalid. Doesn't seem fair as she had a 48 hour stomach bug that kicked in on Monday night. The bad weather they forecast is just beginning to set in so it's the sofa for me tonight. Andy
