Took the Benelli out, even at running in speed it's quite obvious that it's got some balls! It's also obvious those Rosso II's are going to work well on the Ducati. Next weekends task is to pick up oil filter and cam belts for the Ducati and service it ready for its MOT
I was reminiscing with my wife today about my late father. When I was a kid my dad taught me that saving money was a great idea. Whenever I had a spare penny, he told me to put it in my blue box. When I had enough I would swap them for a ten pence and put them in my red box. When I had enough tens, I would swap them for a fifty pence and put them in my black box. It took me years to learn that I was feeding the gas meter
So the rain is lashing down, I look out the window and see a cat laying in the grass, ready to pounce on something... "Poor cat" I thought, "it must be getting soaked" some time goes by and it's obvious the cat hasn't moved a muscle, it's still stretched out by the fence in the rain. I start to suspect the cat may have expired.. Eventually the penny dropped.. I wasn't watching a dead cat, but I had in fact spent ten minuets waiting for a dustbin lid to pounce..... Durrrrrrrrr!
I've had a two hour meeting first thing with a potential client, then I had to drive in blizzard conditions from NY State to Connecticut. The conditions were appalling. A drive that should have taken 3 hours took me 5!! And when I log on here all I see is people taking lumps out of each other (verbally and virtually). Stop it or I will take action. I'm hungry and in a bad mood already. Don't make it worse.
i skidded to a halt one day in the twylight to stop myself from running over a load of pigeons in the road...turned out to be chip wrappers in the road, i had my eyes tested not long after
