Yes, that's Alan. Team Knight RR. He was tinkering with his 1198s when I saw him. I'm headed there again tomorrow if you get the urge to have a look. I'm told the racing will be better on Sunday Look me up, I'll be the guy who isn't a marshal, annoying the real marshals on the Start/Finish line
There's free ear piercing at my local pub tonight. Or 'Ladies darts tournament' as the landlord puts it.
Would have been up for that Loz, but can't diss appoint my fans. I'm booked in for the ride out to Riverview.
Fitted a new Li-ion battery to my MV750S today, bike wouldn't start realised there was an alarm sensor on the removed seat unit so engaged the micro switch, still nothing, checked main 40amp fuse - it was blown, replaced - alarm went crazy - still power in the key fob but wouldn't switch off the alarm. Replaced fob batteries - there was enough power to light the fob lights before but obviously not enough to turn alarm off - it fired up first press after being stood for 2 years . So, a 15 min job took a while, but my mate Caroline was round and she opened the first bottle of Champagne about midday (just before I started tinkering). My tinkering was in the sun shine with champagne while she cooked a fabulous meal. Been drinking all day, now on real ale and well chilled...
been getting the sh.t kicked out of me all day by the kids. cool. might get out tomorrow for a wee blast,
Tell yer nippers to get a kick or two in for me will ya !!! Extra points iffin its in da nuts
Sorted out a load of paperwork that accumulated whilst I was away and re-ordered/negotiated my BT telephone and broadband package (inc BT Sport) at a slightly better rate than the last 18 month contract
Just watched my young one score 2 cracking goals as they thrashed the over team 1-6. Treated him to a kit Kat as he won the man of the match!
Thought about that one! Bought him a double sized one on offer and told him it'd have to last til the end of the season. Sorted!
So need to catch up a bit. Willburys tribute band Friday night that was really good fun. Played a mixture of Dylon, ELO, Tom Petty and George Harrison stuff to pad out the Willburys stuff. Mad panic Saturday to get the bikes on the trailer with tool boxes, paddock stands, tyres and kit packed into the back of the car in time for our drop off slot. Bad start to the journey spending 35 minutes stuck in slow moving traffic on the A339 in Basingstoke. Still got there in time and saw everything into the trailer, that is all except for my rev counter and water temp gauge because all 3 of the rubber dampers had separated from the securing studs. Thank god for superglue and it'll have to be hand luggage now. Chiilin' today after a disturbed night woke me at 3 this morning. Probably need to tidy the garage later now there are 2 bikes less cluttering up the place . Andy
Couldn't you have got any closer to the drag lift ? Looks absolutely fabulous so enjoy but please, don't break anything, the weather is getting better and it's time to ride . Andy
