So what have you done today..?

  1. Pulled the fuel pump out of my MV750S to try and free the bloody stuck filler cap from underneath - can't remove the assembly to get access as I need some of those fancy clip pliers to get the hoses off so ordered some on Ebay, thankfully only £7.50 delivered - job should have been done today though  Pub tonight :D

  2. Had a letter yesterday from MIB ( Motor Insurance Bureau ) saying my new bike, registered in December is not Insured and if you don't get it insured you're in for a penalty. Ring Carole Nash who insured it and they said YES it's on the MIB database. Ring MIB and they say NO it's not. Ring back CN and they say they'll have to issue the details again to the insurers. Can you imagine how long I've spent on this this morning, does my fooking head in, still non the wiser !

Oh ........ and I shaved the dog.

  7. Put my power ranger suit on today and took the evo for a run. Looked at a few lids.

Not the weather for a power ranger

  8. Is this a euphemism?

  12. Looks bloody amazing Phil.

Not keen on your choice of tyres though, my RSV had those when I bought it, and they weren't good.

  13. This morning I went to see my baby grandson. He is gorgeous:)

I then came home and I've been in a constant state of jet lag since :(

  14. Drove back home from Glasgow early doors this morning. Stripped the plastics off. Front calipers and lines off, full exhaust, off, rear sprocket carrier, off. And ready for replacement next week. Got home at about 5 o'clock and just my elder son at home. Wife and gremlins out while later on. Bliss!

  15. Your baby grandson lives on a plane?

  16. My boss phoned me today - "do you believe in life after death and the supernatural?"

"Yes, I think so," I replied.

"I thought you would," he said. "Yesterday after you left to go to your mother's funeral, she phoned up to talk to you"

  17. Thanks Fig. The Maxxis tyres seem to get generally good reviews, this bike is not exactly going to indulge in knee down thrashing or wet weather use, so it's tyre choice is a little less critical.

  18. Went for a ride got about half a mile from my house and spotted a bike at the lights pulled up next to him and it was a yellow Scrambler, he had just got it only a few hours earlier must admit it looks better on the road then looking at it in the Excel show.

  19. Finished final day of skiing, fantastic week, very cold but blue skies, snow fantastic to low levels. All packed for an early start home tomorrow but currently sitting close to the toilet and a bucket close by!!! Maybe the steak last night, done to the french interpretation of rare (blue) and delicious, has caught up with me!!

  20. Another barrowload of weeds. But there are plenty more to go.

If it's a tad warmer tomorrow, might even try and start the 999.
