Took bikes out for a run. Tried on more helmets. I must say, the HJC isn't a bad lid and half the price of others. The AGV wasn't bad. Then you never know until you're on the road.
scortchio. in the sun, a wee run down to oban on the fugly. v.nice. it appears police Scotland have a shiny new black unmarked bmw patrolling the route. wonder how fast the the Porsche was going that was getting a ticket on the appin straights. stopped for a coffee here stopped for a coffee there. all good.
Made a lemon drizzle cake (first time) having been enthused by my last cake. No, I don't watch the Great British Bake Off. Why would I want to spend time watching tedious people make cakes? Bought a couple of shrubs, but it was cold and I didn't feel like planting them. Tomorrow. Also too cold to get the 999 out (7°, north wind). It's got to be double figures, or I'm really not interested. Otherwise I have done remarkably little. Cake came out brilliantly though.
Took the hyper to cjs saturday (where it is today) and its goin on the dyno tomorrow....should collect it tomorrow night....mot tuesday, selling wednesday...
Me too, I'm a motorcyclist, not a masochist. Besides, with my physical condition cold really affects me. 10 degrees is my cut off for anything further than super sausage. Mind you, the ride to Baines last week in 16 degrees was bloody lovely, reminded me what I've been missing.
What a busy week and weekend it has been. Had midterms last week. Still finishing business plan for class project and to start Ducati Caffè. Went to a speaked thing on Thursday...talk was on "mindfulness or mindlessness" about fell asleep! I never put much stock in meditation...my meditation is riding, driving and racing...with loud music. Drove to Aspen yesterday on a gorgeous day. Went to look at commercial properties then drove through Vail to do the same on way home. Realized its bloody expensive in either place. Found out I have heated leather seats and when I go fast the volume goes up automatically in my car. I love my VW!!! The heated seats scared my mom. Raced a few guys randomky on the highway, had to watch for state troopers. Woke up today cleaned kitchen, worked out at clubhouse for a good 45 minutes (I'll be sore tomorrow), nice hot shower, grocery shopping, finished assignment, gathered laundry...super productive day. Need new winshield blades and wiper fluid. Ran into a couple riding, talked about Ducati Caffè and they are excited. Want me to organize rides at Vail and Independence pass...fun in the summer. Lots lots mire to do!!!
