  1. Today,I placed my order for a brand-new KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE...
As long as it's delivered ,(with all the Gucci bits I've carefully selected from the accessories brochure),by the 31st of March,I shall be a very happy bunny this Easter:D

  2. It isn't really. Just the photo made it seem as if it was. One corner is a little dark, true, but as Pete says, it was either that or potentially have another bit underdone. It's all yellow and fluffy and very good, although I suspect I preferred the lemon one.

  3. Today, if golf clubs would, I'd burn them, driver all over the place, lazy. Not a bloody decent iron. Putter to pick my nose.
Wifey changing car. Been to see, Range Rover, Lexus, Jag's, Merc's and after all that, still loves the Maserati. Darn it, lovely motor.
Took evo for a walk. Clean, bed. Sleep.

  4. Yesterdays gig to see Paloma Faith was brilliant. She's a great entertainer and seemingly a very nice person. I Loved it. :)

  6. oh nice 1 how was it and at what dealers was the test ride and how comfy , breath:D just so excited about this bike

  7. It was at riders in Bristol, it was a group test ride with 3 escorts/guide so very difficult to give it a proper report (45mins)as it's no where near long enough to add any proper info. I owned the 1199 so was trying this as a comparison only. It seemed a lot comfier like the i fitted the bike better, certainly the power was more usable, kept going the wrong way with the gears as my track bike is in race shift and the gear selector was at an insane angle I could hardly my foot under it. But the clutch less downshift gizmo is brilliant. I would need a decent/longer ride on it to give a more accurate report.

  8. can't wait to test ride one hopefully they will be more reliable than the 1199 , i could be interested;)

  9. Put my 848 back together after the gear lever selector decided it would be a great idea if it got itself stuck below 1st!!!!!!

  10. I'm jealous mate, tried to get tickets to see her but sold out :(

  11. Just had a phone call from British Gas, concerning the complaint I made about the current Home Hive advertising campaign. They took their time!

End result - they will look at their advertising and how they engage with new Hive customers.
Oh and they are sending me a cheque for £50 :)

  12. What a shame. If you can get some at not too daft a price on eBay get them. She's ace! :upyeah:

  13. Cartagena day 4 started and finished in a fraction of a second - right leg failed to make it over the seat and the bike fell over in the pit lane :Arghh:. Right clip on bent at about 10 degrees, rear brake pedal bent against master cylinder, foot peg hanger frame lugs bent so hanger has gone into the exhaust causing a nasty ripple in the titanium and foot peg is loose. Game over after just one session on another glorious sunny day :(. On the plus side nothing else touched the ground but small comfort. Back in the hotel now with a beer and looking forward to a couple of days relaxing in Barcelona before flying home. Bikes will be back in the UK Saturday coming so I'll be looking for a pair of rear sets and a right hand clip on. Andy

  14. So today I had my first run out of the season and finally blew the cobwebs off the panigale by doing 156 miles and visiting the DMC open day up in Preston. Foggy was in attendance as were The Edge motorcycle display team. And they also showed how manoeuvrable the Scrambler Icon was too :)

Lovely day, if not a bit cold going up there this morning. :)

But I had a great run out with mixed A and B roads and about 30 miles of motorway. :upyeah:

    Roll on the warmer weather:)

  15. Bit of sympathy would have been nice El T but you disagree. What with ? That I'm a twat for not being able to get my leg up/over ? Hey, it's been 3 days on track and the old bloke has got pains and stiffness in the full knowledge that that statement will open the flood gates of derision and innuendo. Andy

  16. Worked Saturday and Sunday, wanted to get out on the bike so frustrated, not being able to ride bike in sports mode yet aaaah

  17. @Android853sp - It was a sympathy "dislike". I disliked the fact that you dropped it.

I know it's not very clear from when you post like that. Sorry.

  18. There isn't a sympathy button. I suspect this is so easy to do. Not the way I'm sure you wanted to end the trip.

  19. Can we have a sympathy button? And change the spanner to mean 'Tool' as it has migrated to this anyway :) Perhaps some more too: to play with peoples weaknesses and emotions :)
