Took the Monster out for half-an-hour to check the new zorst then scarified the lawn. Filled two one cubic metre bags with resulting moss and thatch. Living the dream eh?
I'm big into compost these days. Compost is where it's at. Add that thatch to your compost heap and it will soon be back doing something useful in your garden.
Afraid the 3 composters in the garden are already full. They are in the trailer awaiting disposal. I could always deliver to Switzerland for expenses?
daughters learnt some new words today "male chauvinistic pig" other than that jack all. lay on the couch watched some political shit and some stargazing programs insisted the family provide me with food all day. all good.
Been chewing over prices and finally listed them on the website thought of having a Forum discount for a moment :Wideyed: but waiting to hear about Forum Advertising
The Motorcycle Spring Show is over here in Toronto before riding season starts...I got another 1st place win + cash again under my belt this year so that's 3 out of 3 Shows so far, there was a guy bitching that owns a BMW S1000RR about me winning the last 3 shows and he came in 4th lol! Poor baby has to step up his game if he wants to win so bad! Here are the other 4 bikes in my display... Panigale Track Bike also got 1st place in Competition Class! Paul Smart got 3rd Place in Sport Bike Class! The Diesel Monster was not entered! And the T-Rex got 1st Place in the 3 Wheel / Trike Class! All in all we took a few Hardware + Cash home...it was a good weekend for us!
You are too kind, but I have plenty of my own. I have discovered the secret to compost - only last year. That secret is a garden shredder. It enables you to mulch up the woody stuff which should be an ingredient of compost and by turning everything into very small parts, the compost process is far, far quicker, so that by the time you'd filled your 3rd bin, you could probably be extracting usable compost from the first one. And even if you don't compost it, the mulch is really handy for keeping weeds down, keeping moisture in and drip-feeding the plants food. It's all good, I tell ya.
Got tooth ache Appointment tomorrow till then plenty of paracetamol don't think I could go another day Ouchie
For sheer agony it's hard to beat a pressurising abscess deep in a live root canal. Don't ask how I know this.
What a ball-ache In hospital for a bit of knee surgery tomorrow and I was told I had to have a chaperone (cos I'm having a general anaesthetic). 12 mates I've rung, 3 of which said yes then rung back and let me down:Banghead: Dunno what the fuss is, the last time I had a general my mate picked me up and we went straight to the pub... So I ring up and ask if it can be done with a local anaesthetic and they said no way. I don't understand; my mum's just had a full knee replacement and she was awake throughout. Anyway, one of my mates finally came through and I've got a chaperone, but his wife is insisting I go to theirs' for the night. It's a lovely offer and I shouldn't moan, but I'd much rather just curl up at home afterwards
When I had my knee surgery they were all in favour of just giving me a local and even suggested I could follow the op on video. Ha! Just what I would have needed, to follow the thing in full-gloss gore with added scraping sound effects. I loathe operations and the less I know about my own the better. So I said bollocks to that, you can knock me out and wake me up when it's all over.
got a bill from me lawyer today for checking my lease out 2years ago for 1300+vat W.T.F? . now that's a proper ball ache. i wonder if he thinks i aint gonna claw that back over the next couple of his repair bills.
Awww that's a nice wife and it's only for the night Take up the offer you never know you might need a bit of TLC
