I'm firmly in the corner of putting it away when the first salt goes down. My zx7 isn't so lucky thou as its needed all year. I guess it'll be a deep clean, anti corrosion spray, top the tank, fuel stabiliser, bike sitting on the paddock stands and under the cover for a fw months. I won't be able to bring it into the house. Shame really
Living in Scotland storing the bike is always a quandary, but last year the MTS1200 was out on every fine day, mind I did ride it in urban mode most of the time, low pressure washed it after every ride and drowned it in ACF50 then deep cleaned it in march and it has held up pretty well. A cold crisp sunny day riding in the Highlands can be very rewarding just beware if the ice in the shadows
Ran a bit too late today to make Matlock by 2pm...been looking after a sick child. Hope you all had a great day out!
I wont put it away as such but don't fancy the rain , salt or snow much. dry crisp winter days are superb .
Think maybe if you experienced some real weather you might not even take the SS/2V out . You wouldnt even get out of my estate in the winter. Minus 22 sort of says leave the bike at home or you maybe will break the plastic never mind the carbon.
