Is there a consensus as to whether having sickness side effects from the shot means your body is now more or less protected? I mean a fever generally means your body is fighting something off and thereby creating anti bodies.

I understand that immunity does not maximise until two weeks after the injection. It seems that science and journalism do not mix well - as we are finding.
