You are no doubt old enough and ugly enough not to need medical advice from me... Get the Quack on the blower and ask him what is the best time to come by for your shot?
3 groups now, U16 as not licensed, pregnancy as no study data and whereas previously any anaphylaxis or known allergy was a contraindication it's now only if you have a known allergy to one of the ingredients (including reaction to first dose). One of the ingredients is common in cosmetics so that could in effect be a larger group. I mentioned that I'd had a previous reaction of unknown origin, possibly an air freshener and it didn't lead to any further investigation. Hats off to the NHS workers in the trial who carried epi pens and had a reaction, their reactions are what led to temporary increase in caution while it was investigated.
Re: whether Sir Tom thought it was patronising, that wasn't the question Tony, unless you do think he didn't deserve a Knighthood?
Sorry Chris not to answer properly, yer tis, No i didn't think he deserved a knighthood along with everyone else who has one. Fvcking outdated shit..............
I don't know, maybe Sir Chris can pull the sword from the stone? He is the vanquisher of wasps y' know.
Had Astra jab on Thursday. Feverish without temperature yesterday, fine today. I’m a 57 yo home shopping delivery driver; was approached by greeter from vaccination centre next door whilst shopping after work. They had a few spare doses left over for the day, would I like one? Jab jobbed!
Just curious with regards to the percentage of effectiveness figures . Is that effective against never contracting it ? Effective for lessened symptoms ? So much contradictory information on this vaccine.
