Something New From Kawasaki

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by Lucazade, Sep 14, 2014.

  1. Clearly is yes.

  2. Well yes but gossip, speculation and Bullshit are part of every motorcycle lunch. Facts we know it will be supercharged, it will be green, it will have h2 in name, it will sound awesome on full chat, another video tomorrow ;)

  3. How do you know any of these "facts"? Are they all based on the post referenced in the article which has been shown to be complete bullshit?

  4. They are all from the official teaser video's - did you not watch them? :Wideyed:

  5. Oh yes.... Sorry... no I didn't, but I will. (Well I saw the first one, it was uninteresting so didn't look at the others. I find nearly all these teaser videos tedious - the Ducati ones are terrible.
I suppose they are meant to get me into such a state of excitement that I jizz in my pants, but I'm afraid they really don't.
Maybe it's just me: I want to see a proper video of the machine in question, in its finished state and then know what it costs and where it can be bought from. I don't really want a couple of glimpses in some arty farty video signifying nothing. But there you go - I'm in my 50s not my 20s.

  7. You can say that again, and there are some who have it down to a fine art ;)

  8. OK. agreed, except that on full chat it sounds like just about any other UJM apart from the odd chirping noise - which is more interesting than exciting.
You'll have noticed that there are 10 of these teaser videos. (slightly yawn).

I do like the resurrection of their odd logo though. How weird that they have had that in the cupboard for decades and not used it - it's very cool.

  9. Ehm F you ;)

  10. the answer was Father Christmas btw - probably being too cryptic again.

  11. Yep you were

  12. small thread change/question, on hols in Cornwall last week & saw a bike meet at Hayle Mc Donalds, called in to look around and came across a Kawasaki that i have not seen before & is not on the Kawasaki web site that i can see, it was a scrambler style & based on the W650/800 twin motor, it looked new on a 14 plate. any idea's ?

  13. W800 Scrambler - built by a UK Dealer?

  14. That's it ! looked quite smart in the flesh.

  15. 270 bhp is apparently the magical number. A road and track version too. Sounds like a real handful at that power .

  16. Supermono 120kg? Really?

Wont matter coz no one will buy one even if they made it

  17. Where did you get that snippet of information from?

  18. And thats at the wheel apparently.

Cant even begin to comprehend why or how that sort of power is possbible. But thats apprently what the press are being told now as we speak

  19. Who said that: 120KG? Too far fetched, but the rest of it might not be... It will sell, it's got blingy wingy bits on it :Wideyed:

  20. There are Hayabusa's running now with 700 RWHP so of course it's possible, just the reliability questionable. Separate oil feed for supercharger? Or sealed with special stuff?

Is it tomorrow it is unveiled?
