Id say this more begs the question - what makes you go faster...or, should I say "does listening to music while you ride help or no..."? Personally it does for me. I always listen to music, helps me concentrate, makes my riding a bit more fluid..
If you're running an old 900ss with metal grille air filters, you could have Enter Sandman by Metallica.
When I went to pick up my zed last year from Kent as the train pulled up to the station I was streaming some random radio station which happened to be playing sugar by Maroon 5 and ever since I hear it, gives me a good vibe of going to collect my bike....listened to it deliberately on Tuesday when I went to pick up the hyper....its my "going to pick up my new bike music...."
Don't agree to listening to piped in music whilst riding your bike .. What do you need it for? If your riding a Ducati you Already have an orchestra giving you your own symphony everytime you crack open the throttle .. My personal fave is.. The twin pipe movement by the Termigonni Orchestra.. Bella Bella.. Mind you having said that.. If you've a dry clutch! You probably do have an excuse.. "Shake rattle and Roll" maybe? X
