Wise words re mice. Friend had his Volvo off-road estate eaten by a rodent. Volvo told him some of his f/optic loom is shrouded in organic planet friendly material. So it chewed/ate that so electrics were u/s. Took a while to sort out.

Tis true. The fibre optic lines are shrouded in soya mix material. Rodent ate through the stuff in boot well so the powered tail gate wouldn’t open or unlock.
