Lancia Aurelia GranTurismo. 60+ years old and not much change from £200k for that and it's just parked on a busy street outside Bologna train station.
The future of supercars, the video is really interesting (titanium and carbon porn alert) Bruce wood should really not wear that shirt though!
Our younger son lives in Boise, and six months ago, his father in law gave him the Mustang below to renovate - it has been in the family for around 30 years and left in a garage after the father in laws brother died in his twenties. The one below would have originally looked like the one above (if you get the drift)
Makes me think of Steve McQueen and Bullitt. Also, what’s under the hood? Looks like someone’s cut a hole for an enhanced air intake. Supercharger?
Were I to win the lottery, I'm sure I'd have half a dozen cars and bikes in a "investment garage" but one car comes up as not even taking time to think about it. From the first day I saw one of these, it has always been top of the shopping list.
There is something special about a Mustang but the 67 Fastback has no peers. An absolute work of (muscle) art
I love the way this guy just drives his beautiful DB4 to the flying club. He bought it in Sept 2010 for £145k. It would now be worth around £600k. So the ideal investment that you can enjoy to drive everyday.
He dropped off his Supersport when he collected the Dino. You might recognise the supersport from Hexagon Cars. Here’s the original advert. https://hexagonclassics.com/cars/porsche-911-supersport-g50-1987/ And a bit more here. https://www.express.co.uk/life-styl...ra-930-Supersport-classic-car-for-sale-london
They still are doing that sort of money. Crazy you could have bought one for £12-15k at one point but then, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Adam can keep that. It reminds me of something out of a 60's futuristic film. It also appears to have been trodden on by a giant at some point. The lines are all out of kilter. Interesting though, it would certainly get my attention if I saw it parked up.
