A call to a traffic lawyer should give you a fairly solid decision on whether that road should have signs, and at what intervals. Might work out cheaper than 5 years of higher insurance!
Take the course if you are offered it and caught on camera, still doesn’t count on your insurance unless the insurance company specifically asks

All road users are supposed keep up with The Highway Code and to know it’s 30 unless otherwise specified. Nobody reads an updated Highway Code ( which is refreshed every 3 years) There were 22 people on that course including me and not one of us knew this.
Too many signs/information on the public highways these days......but not the right ones in the correct placesTOTAL OVERLOAD,IMO
