  6. Thank you all for your kind words. A month ago I was so happy, then 2 weeks ago today my world was literally torn apart, and I'm in quite a bad place now. I'm hoping this will make me stronger but really struggling to see a end at this point.

  7. Jest? Life style choice mate...:D

  8. I know it's a horrible thing to go through, but it's something that happens to lots of us and you can get through it.

It may last a few weeks or a few months but try to stay positive and look at it this way - you didn't deserve to get treated like this, her behaviour would outrage most responsible adults, and it has freed you up to decide how to live the rest of your life. Don't dwell too much on what's happened, but what can happen - I looked on it eventually as a golden opportunity to start again, and there are some great possibilities once you get through the hard times you're currently going through.

You can pm me if you want to let it out, - just telling folk can act as a relief valve - I'm pretty sure your family will have their opinions, but sometimes telling a stranger (they don't come stranger than me and a few others on here) will reduce the strain a bit.

  9. Dont let dark thoughts fester!Seriously go and see your GP.Tell them how you feel.Leave nothing out. They will have options for you.Counselling,Im sure will be one. That can be very worthwhile,to some. Please go and see them.It will help just to talk it through.

  10. Plenty of decent people on here who are happy to help in many ways. If it gets too much, seek proper help. Lots of men wait too long, there is help out there even it’s it’s just a voice at the end of a phone or msg chat :)

  13. Small wonder Lumbux, your mind is completely on other matters... ideally you shouldn't be driving in this state, easy to say... Was totally distracted for a good month after finding out about my wife's infidelity, bolt out of the blue after she was acting a bit weird whilst using my daughters PC. Next morning after she's left for work I looked at the MSN chat history and bamm (thankfully she had a separate logon to my daughter). I was physically sick there and then. Went to GP after a month and was given some counselling sessions which helped a little. Another month later found that she was still in touch with the guy... :broken_heart::mad:

Go to counselling and see if it helps, good to talk to someone. If you want a chat drop me a PM and we can swap numbers.

One word of caution about counselling, if you are a shooter (shotgun or firearms licence) this will come up at renewal. It's a bitch but they have to be careful. Expect an interview for you and also the Mrs if you are still together. Once my marriage when to sh*t I moved my shotguns to a mates cabinet weeks before I told the Mrs I was leaving and moved out. Firearms officer advised this as best course of action.

  17. Stop believing in superstition & if needed stub your toe against a door or wall. To get that third thing out of the way' :p

  18. Thanks all, luckly no guns in the house. I was not driving in the crash, was with my dad and the lady behind drove into the rear drivers quarter while we were turning into his girlfriends drive way, bent the rear while right over. Its upset me whiplash I got 18 years ago, so another reason to speak to the doctor. I did run my little toe over a month ago with a very large roller door at work, so not doing that again!!
