  1. MCFLEA!!!!

How good was that from the outgoing scotty lad!! Don’t think anyone would begrudge him that??
Loved it when cal pulled up on his scoot and hodgy said he should borrow his chief mechanic
“What’s he gonna do throw some roundhouses, I’ll throw some back at him”
Cut to Suzy looking very sheepish lol

Another gifted podium for jd96 which I’m sure he’ll take. Up to 6th in the championship and only 2 pts behind Vietti

Decent big race deffo think the beast backed off at the end there although why would t you. Another solid ride from cal and thought miller did well after a dreadful start.

    Roll on Valencia!

  2. There was certainly a conflab between teams before the lights turned green yesterday, but someone didn't read the script, bloody ridiculous how he was pushing Pecco. If he'd lost the front end with the 14 points average that would have been turned into a minus 6.
Considering Ducati have spent tens of millions of pounds chasing this championship over the years since 2007, there's a lot at stake for this manufactuer.
Also that Honda's not ready as MM got lucky in the last round.

  3. Get stuffed (politely) with your follow the team order bollocks. Enea has his own race to run. Or will it be follow the leader from now on? Its racing! Want GP to become like F1? Peco didnt need his help and won fair and square. Thats racing or had you forgotten? Ner.

  4. I'm finding MotoGP really quite boring these days, I watched because the PI race was actually quite good, but in general, I'm just checked out. I can't put my finger on it, I think it's similar to F1 in terms of they have always been prototypes but there was a beauty and a relatability to them 10 years ago. The first time I think I started to switch off was when they all started talking about not being able to sit in eachothers slipstreams.. Then it was the ride heights, and now it's that they can't follow because the front tyres get too hot... It's going down a path that for me is just a bit meh

  5. I understand your version of events in normal circumstances as i love the overtaking between the riders all year round until we get down to this stage, but i'm afraid this is not normal......there's a much larger picture to consider in my opinion.

  6. I hate aero and starting/lowering devices and I especially hate how ugly it’s made the ducati.
I still love watching it more than any other sport and all sports evolve.
Look at the grotesque state of our national sport for evidence.

  7. Much larger picture? If they do not win it this year after stacking the grid, then frankly they should go back to making radios.

Its racing. You either race to win or you've lost already.

  8. To be fair they haven’t stacked the grid though have they, they’ve just (finally by whatever means) built the best bike you’d buy if you had a satellite team.

  9. Yeah, I know. Dont blame them either. But theyll deffo win it this yr or else weird shit happened.

  10. I honestly don’t know what people are complaining about really. We’ve gone down to the last two rounds with three manufacturers potentially up for the title (when was the last time that happened?) Yeh it’s ducati heavy but you can’t say it hasn’t been an exciting season in comparison to certain other motor sport events ahem. Add Suzuki and ktm to that who’ve done well in certain rounds and I’d say it’s one of the healthiest championships going.
Jusy get rid of the aero pls lol.

  11. Feck me i just want Ducati to win for a change, is that too much to ask after Honda and Yamaha dominating for so long over the years.

  12. Its racing. As soon as team orders or the like are introduced, its the thin end of the wedge.

Ducati are going to win both GP and SBK. No problem. Its a locked in dead cert.

Team orders are for losers. Peco doesnt need any help and neither does Alvaro.

  13. Clearly i'm speaking another language from you, Peco could drop the bike and collect no points and that lightweight super fast spaniard could break a leg, so it's not done yet old son.:)

  14. Clearly so am I. Peco does not need any help. If he drops the bike, thats racing. I would not wish any assistence if I was racing. Soon it will be formation riding and the sport will be as dead as F1.

I'm a competative person. If I play a game, I try to win. I may be rubbish at it, but I will still try and try and try. I would not wish to have someone help me out. How will I get better? How will I improve? Tips and advice, yes. But actively shielded? No.

I fundementally oppose team orders on principle. You may as well hand out the trophies at the beginning of the season and ignore the races.

  15. I get your argument and fully understand, but i'm singing with the same hymn sheet as the Ducati factory.:)

  16. I support riders/racers, not factories.

  17. Without manufacturers producing their goods we would all be sitting around brewing moonshine getting off our faces, three cheers for the manufacturers.:)

  18. Riders will race anything they can get their hands on. Racing goes on without factory support all over. Always has, always will. Often better racing too. Racing started with blokes just racing and it went great. No factory support, they just raced. Thats proper racing. What you propose is a parade masquarading as a sport with the factory dictating the result.

Racing has always been about the riders. Now its become about the machine, the factory and the puppet sitting on it doing as theyre told.

You are wrong XH on so many levels.

  19. Let's put this one to bed as i'm happy with my original post #22 before you got your knickers in a twist.

P.s ask Frank Williams what he thought about Nigel Mansell the driver and their product the car.
