At first, I thought the woman in the stripy jumper was using the wing as a bench. Tbh, I’m surprised it passes an MOT with those zombie knife blade-like fins underneath it. Is it supposed to be a drift car? The one time I drove an MX5, it was nimble and fun to drive, but it couldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding, so I doubt a standard engine would create enough power to break the traction generated by those wider tyres.
A popular mod is to put a Honda K series engine in place of the Mazda, if done correctly it’ll retain its handling characteristics but be much quicker. As no doubt you’re aware there is quite a cult around them, however they’re notorious as rot boxes and rightly so. My lads 1600 isn’t anything like quick but handles well enough to make B roads a blast.
I wonder if, some time in the future, the creator will view pictures of them and their creation with the same level of dismay I feel when I see pictures of me with a mullet.
I actually quite like the Batmobilesque fuck-you-ness of that. It’s kind of gone so far that it’s passed straight through the shed zone and has ended up back in the awesome zone. But what on Earth is this mythical chimera though? It appears to have the front parts of a Rolls Royce and the hindquarters of a Mazda.
