  1. Tell me about it and you could stretch the same point to include motorcycles - if ever the actual experience of being on a motorcycle could be described as anodyne.

I've being using the Darmah on my 60 mile round trip commute and it is so much more of an actual event than the V-Rap. From waking up excited to use it, to tickling the carbs, to having it loudly clunk and lurch when 'selecting' first, to it sometimes spitting back when pulling away, to short shifting in town so you can hear him brrraapp in every gear, to hearing the engine gently tick when cooling down with that faint hot oil smell.

I believe it's called character.... anyway me old duffer hot cocoa & malted milk biscuits are ready so I better be off otherwise I might miss out on me afternoon nap.

  3. Even got a personalised plate

  4. Held on, slightly skew-whiff, by a bungee cord, no less. Tbh for me, that detail is a little contrived and makes me think less of the owner.

  7. I particularly admire his rigorous approach to ensuring that this prized example of mid 90s(?) Japanese auto-engineering isn’t misappropriated, by way of the CCTV camera in the living room window which is probably worth more than the car it is protecting.

  8. Another one as i was sitting at some traffic lights in Bexhill today, not a bad shot considering i was in the drivers seat.

Edited, leaning across the passengers seat pointing backwards through the window and hoping for the best,!

No, that isn’t a photoshop job. Yes, it does drive and steer.

  12. That’s one cool ratted out van.
    Hydro/elastic suspension?

  13. No idea, I believe I know who the owner is as I see it when out locally.

  14. Any speed hump worth its salt would have that exhaust straight off!

  15. They’re pretty light weight bumps round here and very easily avoided.
All that they’ve succeeded in doing is turning the roads that run parallel into rat runs.
