On my way back from the Monday night bike meet that is no longer running (venue closed down)spotted this.
Not so much a shed for me, more a dubious colour choice. If that’s a pro wrap a lot of money has been thrown at that. If I had the time I’d do my Sons MX5 with that material or the Green 3M material that I inherited a small strip of as production decided they didn’t like a layout so left it off the print run.
There appear to be two categories of shed: (1) scruffy old bangers like the Beetle in your last photo, and (2) tastelessly modified cars. Naturally, the best examples fulfil both criteria. I think cars with gaudy wraps qualify for the latter category and, although it’s not clear from the photo, it also has a big aftermarket spoiler bolted to the boot lid!
That’s a very good rationale of why although expensive it isn’t necessarily tasteful, a shed it is. I’m now thinking of shedding my Sons MX5 once he’s passed his test which is hopefully 2 weeks away. He’s had so much fun learning to drive on our breakfast runs, some as far as Welsh coast, about a 200 mile round trip whenever we could and we’ll as the boring parking practice.
Whatever you think of Elon Musk, what he has achieved is remarkable, private citizen doing a space walk on an entirely civilian space flight, setting 2 records ( highest space walk, most people in space ( 4 of the 19 today)) furthest human from earth in 50 years, and that's just part of space X Tesla changed the US view of electric vehicles I had starlink in my remote small holding, remarkable Etc Etc
There’s an only fools and horses burger van with obligatory yellow three wheeler on the road between Buxton and leek never fails to make me laugh when we pass it cos it’s the last thing you expect to see *a few miles away from Pekham, wind howling off the peaks and making the van wobble. I will stop there one day (for food poisoning I’d imagine).
