Increase the length of the bar by slipping a piece of tube over the handle, a scaffolding 'Pod lock' is ideal .
Get Emm to sit on it, both brakes on in gear, wheels on the ground and then try it. Mine was tight but not scarily so.

Brilliant bit of kit for the money. never used a locking tool on any engine with one of the above. Great for removing the clutch retaining nut etc Best £50 i have ever spent

The funniest part is Emm borrowed that slinky number from Butch's wardrobe. That girl with the assets on the 1098s has the same problem as me before i got the DP seat. I was always sliding into the tank as well.
