  1. Looking forward to seeing the results.

  2. First ride out and 52 very happy miles yesterday. Perfect bike for some nice bend swinging.
80mph was 6k revs, does that seem right?

  4. Haven’t ridden mine for a few weeks so hard to remember, 6k seems a bit high but it depends what sprockets are fitted, I’d leave it as is though because they are much nicer to ride with lower gearing and 6k isn’t excessive.

  7. I'll look into the gearing perhaps. She seemed happiest at 65/70 mph. It felt a bit buzzy at 80mph and 6k.
Kept looking for 6th gear. Lol.

  8. I have had the T’bird since 66. This is as bought from Pride and Clarke

This was it in 69 with gas flowed head, large valves, tapered phosphor bronze valve guides and a twin carb manifold that just allowed a pair of handed 32mm Concentrics to sit side by side. Together with the E3134 cams back and front and 12.5/1 pistons it used to go a tad quicker than the standard 6T.

Now i intend to take it to full cafe’ racer style.

  9. Wow, have you still got the original cycle parts and engine parts ? If so please please put her back to standard.

  10. Sorry but it’s been modified too much to go back to scratch. All the bits I have are the original carb and manifold plus a spare distributor and a few odds and ends. So I intend to complete the task I had set myself back in the 60s.

I do understand where you are coming from and when the SS and the T’bird get too much to handle I have set my sights on a Triumph model H just post WW1, about 1919 vintage.

  13. They are Ducati Performance for MH900e. Very rare.
I have a set of polished alloy belt covers, different style for 900 2V for sale if you’re after a set. PM if interested. Keith.

  14. Got the last of my replacement parts in yesterday. Most of the bodywork removed except the tank. Taking it off this week and taking everything to my painter......

  16. Noticed she never had a rear hugger fitted. Found one on ebay, £26 delivered bargain.
