Just part of my collection. I rebuilt three of the Supersports myself. The tri-color (red framed bike) was owned by a good friend who met his end while riding it. He was hit head on by an impaired driver and died instantly. His widow gave me what was left of the bike and I rebuilt it as a tribute to him. After the bike was finished I was involved in a bad incident while testing it. My wife swears it is bad luck so I don't ride it much, mostly just to take it to bike shows. Maybe the green bike being bad luck is really a thing....... nah, I don't think so.
Here is another pic of it at an invitational bike show in Cincinnati. When showing a bike I always let parents take pictures of their children sitting on it. When I was young bikers would let me sit on their bikes from time to time so I am just passing it on.......
Saw a guy in high viz pointing something in my direction. Thought it was plod with a speed gun!. Turns out it was a company taking bike pics!
It's nice to see that the top yoke is not scratched to pieces by other keys dangling in the wind with forward motion.
Looks a bit rough, but the position is spot on. Wired directly from the battery made from an adapted battery charger connector.
Summer gloves in November!. Wonderful few hours out, did 75 miles. That's almost 1k on the old girl since buying her back in March.
