.....in addition to making old men shake their sticks, boys jaws drop, dogs cower, cats hiss and young women swoon, and that's just burbling through town before the throttle bodies are cracked open. The public reaction t'was incredible in their difference from the giant heavy standard cans to in the public on a rolling throttle, heads really do turn.
Mot's tomorrow at 09:30, to be fair to her she didn't take much, and the work tops are not granite XH, I have to be a bit carefull as the house is sold!!
Fuggin‘ Italians. I went to pull my front wheel in order to pull my front forks (2002 900 sport I.e). First issue wankery plastic 8mm mudguard clamps at bottom of fork legs seized up like it’s 1943. Then I discover the axle nut is 28mm. Who the fck does 28mm?! Socket eBay ordered begrudgingly. Was keen as to install Andreani fork kit. £490 on eBay, or £490 on Brooks. Except eBay is now (thanks to our pointless ‚let’s take back control‘ for a Gove class of greasy pole‘ brexit plus 22% VAT and duty, or £490 on Brooks. Easy call, go Brooks, except....Once going through the purchase order they want an additional £85 to spring weight for you. But the kit comes with a spring? Yes, but through Brooks even the standard kit spring gets charged on top. So now, with thorough distaste, I’m thinking super budget, Suzuki K1-3 forks, pillaged for internals, refresh with oil, and that’s enough for British b grade Tory tarmac.
Agreed and it certainly brightens up my day when i look at it....there was a 750ss in red at my local yesterday with carbon pipes attached being serviced which was lovely as well.
Took mine out for a blast yesterday Late braking high revs tipping into corners, it loves this sort of riding style. And it was sunny and warm. Running well, at the moment
