  1. Well so far i'd five rides on mine and just loving it and to see a 750ss in red at my local yesterday being fired up by Malcolm outside the building with the Termi's on just reminded why i made the right choice. The only criticism i have is the seat very slippery for some odd reason, also are the brakes upto the job.?

  2. Haven’t a problem with the breaks.
The back one is by far stronger than my multistrada used to be!
A recent fluid change has definitely firmed up the feel.

Haven’t noticed any slip on the seat either
Maybe not wearing your beige Farah slacks might improve things here!
    :)

  3. If only we'd a wardrobe error warning light on the dashboard,
i never use the rear brake pedal ever unless i've a problem but i'll change the brake fluid at somestage this summer.

  8. Nope, not yet. They appear to be very thin on the ground in the UK. Tried buying a perfect example from Belgium but the seller got cold feet at the last second.

  9. Is that financially worthwhile once all the duties have been paid coming into the UK etc.

  10. Had my 1000SS/SL project out for a good long ride in the sunshine on Saturday morning trying out the Powercommander III USB I fitted.

    Really enjoyed the ride.

  11. A delightful ride out tonight. It was everything I hoped and wanted it to be.
Bike was perfect for the first 35 miles, then the next 25 it got worse and worse popping/spluttering and was almost unrideable through town to home.
It's booked in with local Ducati independent so hopefully it will get sorted.

  12. Very irritating but probably just the carburetors need cleaning / balancing etc, also nice bin shot.:upyeah:

  15. I think I may have overdone it on the 'bin' etiquette for photos ;)

  19. It needs the carbs cleaning first - I've got a pair of rebuild kits, removing the carbs tonight and they will be heading to Slick Bass (as he knows a fair bit about Ducatis)
