  1. Remember Grey is 200 more than Red

I would expect an hour for the grips as you need to change throttle assy on one side and drill handlebar the other from memory as well as activate in software

gettng old grip off left side can be a pain too

  2. Aye they listed it on autotrader at 14795 then told me it was a cookie issue and it should be 14995. Can’t really argue, obviously the Ducati configurator is a bit wonky with its times ‍♂️

  3. since when do they charge to fit bits you order with the bike FFS. everytime i get a new one they will fit any bits and pieces FOC when they PDI it - including exhaust systems that can take hours

  4. My dealer has allowed two days to fit everything to my bike, and isn’t charging labour. All part of the deal.

  5. I totally agree! I’ve never paid for bits to be fitted ever on a bike, however when it’s the ONLY one in the UK and next
Available one is July, the bargaining options are limited

  6. Good point. You were very lucky to find one tbh.

  7. As far as I know there is only 1 other v2s in the country and it’s red

  8. So deal all done?

Did you want the Grey as a preference?

I looked at both.. liked the Red wheels on the Grey one.. but still went Red (they had both in stock at the time)

  9. Yes deal done
I fancied the grey because it’s a bit different and in fact had had that conversation with my local dealer just the week before when thinking about a factory order…. Have had 2 1200s in the past and nearly chose a white one but stuck with red, because ducatis are Red after all . Had there been a choice……. My head for resale, ducatis are red after all and my heart for grey due to it being different.
However the red one is in Bristol (£350 transport costs) and grey en route to my 4 days away in Scotland in a couple of weeks so there wasn’t really a choice plus it’s actually cheaper than the red one, in real terms.
So if there had ve been a choice at the dealership… I’d have still gone grey

  10. Just cancelled the heated grips, I just refuse to pay £425 for them given that £100 Oxford ones are twice as warm! Id rather set my hands on fire than get shafted lol. Ive a pair of heated gloves anyway.

  11. Fitting is easy - but they need activation

As an FYI - there is a Grey USED one on Ebay with some extras - for about the same money as you said

  12. I’ve just seen that, however it’d be hard for me to get it for when I need it tbh….. but I’ll have a think about it
