899 Steam Lots Of Steam.

  1. Took it to a local garage they had a look, they didn't want to do to much so that it wouldn't effect the warranty. They think it could be a thermostat issue. The top radiator isn't getting warm even when the bottom is boiling. So they reckon is a circulation issue probably caused by the thermostat.
     
  2. And the leak they're not sure. Think it may have just dumped some when it got hot. They didn't dig to deep.

    often the rad matrix get loaded up with water when washed and turns to steam when the bike is next run up, but if you're seeing antifreeze residue...:Nailbiting:

  7. Just to state the bleedin' obvious, if it's under warranty still leave it to the retailing Dealership. If you let anyone else tinker with it you are likely to breach your warranty conditions, plus it'll be paid for out of your own pocket. With any overheating issues, do not make it overheat to test it. The clue is in the name : OVERheat, it's TOO hot, it will break. Saying this, nevertheless it's YOUR bike. YOUR money to spend as you like, so I shal now shut the **ck up and keep my nose out of your business.
