I'm not fussed. Biking has been a seasonal thing here for the past 25 years. I like going on long rides, and I have no desire to be doing them in this weather. Spring is always a good moment when I get the 999 out again though and have to recalibrate my brain (the Alfa is not very fast).
I've got a winter hack so I still manage to ride pretty much all the time, but I really want to get the Ducati out onto a warm dry track :tongue:
It would drive me mad...I can live with an auto, I quite like them for day to day use, not being able to drive at all would have been a disaster.
really feel for you guys, had 3 months in plymouths derriford hospital, i am lucky im here anyway, told my loverly wife to expect the worse twice in the early days, couldnt ride or drive for a year, hope you all get sorted real soon, like MattMccabeBrown i have my WR450F i use for green laning so i get my FIX of biking in the winter months, all the best, kev
John and Phil there is light at the end of the tunnel time will go quicker as you recover and do more I started driving a year after my off albeit one handed and now I'm about to get back on my bike At the beginning I couldn't see past my disabilities and all felt lost I'm still recovering but I hope I can be a good advert and inspiration to get back out there as I once said never riding again and I thought i would be armless forever You adapt to the injury Back in 2007 I came off as pillion breaking my meniscus and cartlidge and bruising my knee bones Off work for 4 months physio and determination by 2008 passed my bike test You can do it both of you
