  3. i usually try a 'basic instinct'....dont normally work..

You could always take a leaf out of Dave Courntey's book...him and a bunch of heavies were on the M74 in scotchland and got pulled by motorcycle plod...knowing there were some sawn offs in the boot, he was not too excited about getting a tug and didnt fancy opening the boot of the Jag...so as the plod began to remove his lid (pre those flip up lids) Courtney punched him on his exposed chin whilst the cop still had his hands either side of his head, lifting off the lid..knocked him out cold....
To spare his blushes, they dumped him in a hedge, followed by the bike and the keys a few miles up the road..naughty but nice.

  4. I got pulled over on the M1 a few years ago , where there was a 15 mile 50mph for road works , I was not speeding and wasn't accused of it . I was pulled for having an illegal plate . I had , and still have , the X of saint George where the GB goes. He was adamant that it was illegal saying the welsh dragon, I think , and the scottish saltire were ok but the english + was not. I don't think he liked it much when I told him he was wrong and the law had in fact changed in April that year . The cop at my local station couldn't believe it when I went with the producer and the notice to "put it right" . He ripped it up in front of me and said even the force have ignorant c***s working for them .

  5. Got specialplateon my van...I didnt put it on but like it all the same :upyeah:

  6. all coppers are bastards :upyeah:

  7. i am not saying all coppers are bellends as i have a pretty cool one helping me out around the place, but feck me i seem to be a bit of a fanny magnet right now but just the wrong kind of fanny.

  8. you don't really want to blame the police. They tend to just be enforcing the law.

The people you want to blame are those who put up the ludicrous speed limits, or the pathetic solid white lines.
White lines in particular annoy me. They make it legal to overtake in the most absurd places, where even on a bike it would be suicide, and then in other places it's solid whites for mile after mile.

  9. This is funny

  10. Mr.C..
i dont even need to watch that vid..i recognised that knobbers face immediately having seen that vid ages ago..a prize twot if ever there was one..

  11. It's worked for me, been stopped twice and that's been fine both times. The thing is, I didn't have an attitude which made it very clear that I regarded the man as 'scum', 'filth', 'a pig' etc. etc.
Nor was I grovelling, despite the considerable anger in one case. I just kept it polite, made my points and let him make his.

Strangely enough I was treated fairly in both cases.

  13. It's an interesting video and I was wondering what the answer was from the copper's point over view. If the offender (assuming he had jumped a red light) isn't obliged to give name and address or answer questions or accept paperwork, what is the law supposed to do about it? Is there something the copper should know or is he in a legal cul de sac?

Incidentally, are you allowed to film what you want without the filmee's consent? I had an idea there was a contentious newish law which meant the police could stop you filming if they didn't like it (such as filming them, or outside an embassy for example). Do I have any rights not to be filmed if I don't want to be?

  14. In this case the cyclist is far more intelligent than the PC. However he did commit and offence by cycling through the red light and Mr PC was well with in his rights to ask him his details to issue a ticket. I also think that its fair that if an officer is making a lawful request then you should be able to question the wording.

TBH I don't have a problem with the old bill, on saying that if I come up against a jobs worth then I would make his job as difficult as possible just for the hell of it.

On saying that I would have just pedalled off as fast as possible :upyeah:

  15. I believe there was a law passed not that long ago making photographing a policeman an offence.

I can't imagine plod has to quote word perfect the law under which he is acting otherwise there would be a great deal of people getting off on that technicality.

Having said that there was a case against a self confessed murderer thrown out today because a senior police officer had obtained evidence without following correct procedure.

  16. But it's still OK for the police to film, without the filmee's consent, peaceable and lawful protesters under the "anti-terrorism" act. Somebody mentioned "post Thatcher" earlier, the problem is that we are not "post Thatcher". This country is now so far right wing that even Genghis Khan looks like a left wing pinky.

The original post was about somebody (possibly) getting it wrong when it comes to the requirement to display a tax disc. I suspect that he probably realizes that he was in the wrong. Why would you not say "Bu%^er, sorry officer, it's on my desk at home etc, etc"? On the other hand please don't expect a policeman in Thatcherite Britain to be other than what he is expected to be.

  17. i would of punchd him in the face to,but then im not traind to deal with bellends, the nob ran a red light, book him just for being a cock.

  18. Thatcherite Britain? Where does that come from? She hasn't been in power for over 20 years and is dead too.
