Streetfighter V2

Discussion in 'Streetfighter' started by Snips, Sep 27, 2021.

  1. Looks fantastic. I’ve got the Evotech lever protectors to go on, so will give those to the guys to fit.

I’m hoping my bike(s) won’t be much longer, as the wait is driving me crazy.

  2. Very jealous. I have to wait until June or July to get mine!

  3. Congrats @Jimmy the hat , mine should be arriving at dealer around the 10th March. Hope you get the bar end sorted.

Did you have the front brake caliper reflectors removed? The UK demo I tried had them, and I was planning to remove them, would be nice if I don't have to :upyeah:

  4. Yes I asked the dealer to remove them. You need 2 spacers which they provided.

  6. Oh that's good to know, I will get that arranged too.

  7. I think I mentioned but I was told mine was coming end March, early April, but is now due in on 10th March, so hopefully they are just managing down expectations.

  8. That’s exactly when I was told mine would be here, but I’ve not had an update as yet. I was also discussing getting the Akra for it the other day, the dealer said May/ June for that.

  12. Looking forward to a review after your first ride!

  13. Make my £1000 premium seem cheap for a 2021 Diavel 1260S and 2015 899 Pani with 1 year NCB and only had full bike licence for around 15 months.

  14. Still raining here!

Fitted Evotech tail tidy and rad guards.
DP rear indicators and tank pad.

Used the original bar end bolts and spacers and managed to fit the Evotech bar ends. I have been emailing Evotech, hopefully they are working on a better solution.

The heated grips seem decent. They are easy to operate via the dash.

  16. Thanks Snips.
They are cool. They sweep. I want some for the front now!

Just back from a 70 mile blast. It's a bit muddy but I loved it.

  17. That looks stunning. I wasn’t sure if the dp indicators were sweeping, but you’ve answered that question. I’d actually prefer if they just blinked, so will ask my dealer if there’s the option.

  18. I was just thinking is this part a bit unfinished compared to SFV4? Maybe it is just the angle of the photo.

  19. A decent pair of scissors would take care of that little lot. Can’t be that necessary, surely?

  20. Not just the wiring. This is from my V4 with steering turned:

But agree not very important. Just little annoying maybe.
