The V2 SF looks better than the V4 SF and makes more sense too. IMO, dont shoot me. Evotech make levers and all sorts of other goodies.
Just fyi, I tried the EvoTech short levers on my 959 as I loved them on my Street Triple, however, they really didn't work on the 959, as the ball on the end of the level fell just where my fingers were applied, and the clutch was much stiffer, so more leverage was required - which did not make for a comfortable combination. I then switched to the longer EvoTech folding levers, which were great.
TWM make some really smart levers, they look really similar to the Ducati ones. Also you can go straight to the company that make the Ducati ones, they aren't Pazzo etc, but I can't remember off the top of my head who makes them.
The Ducati Performance levers for my Panigale V4 are made by TWM, they are even marked, made by TWM, on the opposite side to the Ducati logo. Andy
There you go then, I knew it was them, or a really similar company. I think they are £150 odd a set which sounds like a lot but the quality is fantastic
Good to know, thanks. I think the Ducati ones for the V2 are Rizoma, but the price of them is sheer madness!
Ducati “partnered” with Rizoma from 2018. One of the bigger mistakes IMO. Form over function, looks pretty but doesn't perform well in comparison to other more functional products. In my case, the Panigale V4S Rizoma levers and rearsets are not in the same league as the TWM and Spider equivalents I fitted instead. Andy
Their stuff is very pretty, but I’ve always preferred Gilles as a brand. Unfortunately they’re taking forever to launch anything for the V4, so there’s not much choice out there.
Looks fab! Very much like mine, but you have a screen, level guards, and is that a gold chain? Mine gets its first service on Tuesday, so I'm looking forward to getting back out on it.
Yep, all of the above, bit frustrated the silencers haven’t come in yet, but they’ll prob get done on the first service.
Is the rear seat cowl and tail tidy on the V2 the same as the V4 does anyone know ? The headlamp and screen look to be the same. A mates getting one and we were talking about what parts were the same.
I picked mine up today even though the solo tail and stuff I ordered with it haven't shown up yet. Mother nature is not cooperating so I haven't ridden it yet (or taken a decent picture), but I did hear it run, so I've got that going for me! Now I get to figure out how to remove the passenger pegs, and then install the windescreen. I know I've seen info on that stuff so it's time to go back and re-reaed everything about the bike.
Bike looks great. I still have about 6 weeks to wait! Be interested to hear if you have any issues removing the rear pegs.
It rained all night (meaning my dog kept me up most of the night) and was misting this morning, but is threatening to clear up a bit so a buddy and I are heading out in about half an hour. In fact I need to get my lazy butt off the couch and start getting ready. First ride of the year, I'm not even sure where all my gear is.
