Looks good. So, a throttle spacer & some mirror extenders, and the bike will be spot on, in his opinion.
Put my deposit down on one yesterday. Subject to test ride, and seeing it in the flesh, but after a couple of rides on the V4S, and everything I’ve read about the V2, have little doubt it’s the bike for me.
If anyone is going to the bike show, can you get some decent pictures of the V2SF please, along with the spec sheet.
I tired to take close ups of bits the reviews don't show. Not sure if it's what you really wanted! The clutch switch appears to just be exposed. Wondered if there should be something covering it? Small TFT screen didn't really bother me. Riding position was great. Seat seems well padded. Don't like the black plastic front mudguard, or the rear. The reflectors are mounted off the brake calliper mounting bolt. Due to the thickness of the bracket I think you would need an additional spacer, as used on the other bolts, before you could refit without the reflector.
My dealer gave me a couple when I bought the V4S, but I’ve since fitted these: £6.27 20% Off | Motorcycle Front Brake Caliper Spacers Kit For Ducati Streetfighter V4 Streetfighter 848 1098 Scrambler 800 400 1100 https://a.aliexpress.com/_vCdwVy Ask your dealer if he can remove them if not PM me and I’ve a couple of OEM spares in silver.
No worries. Just a FYI, rather than spending £30 for 2 bits of plastic for the throttle spacers, on the last 4 Duc’s I’ve used cable ties with no problems. Fool and his money….
It’s not a tube, it’s the wheel rim ♂️ that’s a little shark fin thing, same as the Panigale V2, had a bolt on the inside of the swingarm
What delivery scales are people being quoted ? A friend enquired locally and was told ‘maybe’ July as there are production delays. I think Ducati are just not giving the dealer a full allocation as they have never reopened since covid started.
