  1. Looks good, you happy with it?

  2. Yes I agree ,it does look good and I've been scouring the bay looking for something similar for my T9S mono,i keep checking the original German guy who had them but he's not relisted as yet...does anyone know where else I can get one?

  3. go onto his shop on ebay he has them there.. he just places a new listing instead of relisting

  5. getting myself one on payday too

  6. The package from Germany arrived yesterday morning,i opened it with anticipation only to find.....GSXR instead of Ducati Corse sewn onto it !!! ....I immediately contacted them through ebay in German with the help of the google translation tool, and to be fair they were very apologetic and told me they would send the correct one same day.......waiting...

  7. I picked this up a bit late but here is my Alcantara seat done done by a member on the old Ducati forum, he did them in both Black and Grey with the old style Corse logo, quite nice for a period bike. I am not sure if he is on here but I have his address at least and possibly his email if someone wanted a seat doing. He did the lot for about £50 including fitting and return postage.

  8. I ordered one on Monday so I'll see what arrives, maybe I'll get a honda one... Always fancied an sp1 ;)

  9. The correct one arrived today, and I'm impressed with the quality, now for removing the seat...can anyone tell me if the seat on a mono comes away on its own or is it attached to the tail fairing as well,as far as I can tell I can see 4 screws holding it on,1 either side and 1 each on the rear underside, are there anymore?...I know it sounds a bit silly but I've never had to remove it and I don't want to be undoing the wrong screws/bolts....:Asshat:

if someone knows which ones to attack it could save me hours of exploration...

  10. Mine has also arrived today, will be fitted by tomorrow afternoon.

removing a mono seat. 2 Allen key bolts in the side, 2 underneath. Hinge the whole rear section up with the fuel tank attached, you can then undo the bolt holding the seat to the tank. Once off the 4 Allen key bolts holding the seat on are accessible.

  13. Bloody nice that! They plenty big enough for the seat? Only reason I ask is that I'm wanting to sling one on my 1098

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  14. Yeh it was plenty big enough, I had a local tailor fit it for me, the front section was cut and stitched to stop any bunching, if it was a simpler shape I'd have had a go myself but the xx9 seats are a bit awkward shape wise. £30 for fitting, couldn't be happier with it

  15. Cool. Just done a search and he does one listed for the 1098 so should be fine... now ordered, going to replace a tatty ducati performance cover that's looking a bit thread bare. Going to have a go at it myself using the old cover as a template, should be easy enough :)
