Tadley Engineering on Easter Park near Silchester. It's the first unit on the right as you go into the park although you need to drive past the unit and then turn right and right again to get to it. I've known it was there for a while but not the need to go and find it until I wanted an NC29 rear sub frame cleaned up. I'm guessing it's the workshop manager that I have been speaking to and all I've done is take the part up there and he's quoted a (cash) price and a few days later I get a phone call and I go and pick the part up. I didn't like the first price for the sub frame but we came to a compromise and they did a really good job hence the sump guards from the Multi. Andy
Here's mine if it helps - done by Palmer Products, 2+ years and 10+k miles ago, still looking good? Probably should have got the exhaust plate and rear footrests done?
Thanks nsm3! That's exactly what I'm after. I think I will go with the powder coat and I think I'll do the pillion foot-peg hangers too. I'll give it the nice black and red contrast all over.
I agree. Up until recently, I always ran with the rear foot pegs off the bike, only fitting them as additional bungee points for my Ortlieb bag that sits on the rear seat, whenever I go touring. Got bored with doing that, so have now left them on, highlighting that they are the "wrong" colour.
Sorry for the tardy response, I'm still working on the bike having fitted the Leo Vince decat pipework so haven't got the bike out in the sunshine yet although I'm guessing it's immaterial now with nsm3 posting a picture of his fine example. In hindsight the rear foot peg hangers need something doing to them. I do use the OE panniers a lot so removing the hangers isn't really an option although it does open up the back end of the bike.
