What a twat If only he knew investment grade as an expression comes from the corporate bond market (hang in there guys) and refers to the creditworthiness rating of the corporate issuer company. The best rating is AAA and the scale going towards the least creditworthiness is AA+, AA, AA-, A+, A and so on. Investment grade is actually BBB-, so eight notches lower than the best. If he wanted to get it right, and suggest the finest quality motorcycle, he should say AAA, or “triple A” as we say in the market. Now forget everything you just read.
