There are red ones too and they even have nice exhausts (Termi). Red Supersports have black Monster mates (the wifes) and red Monster mates (the niece).
Love the way they call it a race system, who would race a Supersport when they could race a Pani. It is called a race system, made by Akrapovic, because it is not road legal, but then nor is my Termi.

Well I'm 40++++++++and skint!!!! I bought it as it handles like a 600. 2 up riding is very comfortable. It has panniers for weekends away. Looks lovely. in its own right! Fuel economy is good. I'm lucky as I have a 916 for more spirited fun and a st3s for touring.So the SS fits between both bikes very nicely. but mines stubborn and its on the outside.
I had an ST2 not long ago, but find that the Supersport is a much better bike for touring, a worthy successor to the very good ST range. I have no problems with 900 km (500 miles) days on the SS and have toured for 10 days non stop without discomfort. You will notice that I have the ST panniers fitted to mine in the pictures above.
ive also had the St2 another great bike.Unfortunately for two people the added top box manages the kitchen sink
I like the way it looks, don’t really care what they called it and don’t care what people race either as that’s entirely down to their own circumstances. One does read some daft stuff.
Funny I thought that people were allowed to comment on what they like or dislike on an open forum. No I don't like the wheelbarrow look but nor do many others. There is the option to block anyone on this forum so that you don't see their posts if you want.
Of course, albeit it gets a bit tedious if it’s the just the same comment much of the time. I don’t wish to block anyone, I’d rather just enjoy vibrant and interesting forum comment and not a bit of a stuck record. That’s all.
